Our Kenzans, sometimes know as pin frogs or pinholders are traditionally used in the Japanese flower art - ikebana, but have become an essential tool for flower arrangers all over the world.
Placed into the bottom of a bowl or vase flowers stems can be pushed into the gaps between the pins or straight onto the pins to hold them in position.
With the addition of one or two stems you can create a beautiful minimal arrangement that celebrates the beauty of each flower. I like to combine a larger Kenzan with a ball of chicken wire to create bigger designs like table centrpieces or foam free meadows.
I love using these in my work and once added to your toolkit you'll wonder how you managed without them!
